European Larch Glulam for Great Yarmouth Market Place

Great Yarmouth Market in Norfolk is one of the oldest markets in England.
Settlers probably traded their agricultural produce and fish here as early as 1,008 BC.
Surrounded by historic buildings dating back to Edwardian and Victorian times, the market, which covers an area of 5,400 metres in the centre of the town, is still extremely popular today with its various market stalls selling a wide range of produce.
A new market is currently being built here, which will replace the old permanent, covered part of the market in the course of next year.
For this great project, Timber Concept supplied the glulam made of European larch.

Eike Wüstenhagen (master carpenter) and Paul Hottelet (master carpenter and wood technician) will support us as CAD designers from now on.

ONEWOOD – Natural * Sustainable * Durable

ONEWOOD is a new generation of solid wood with excellent technical properties.
The building material consists of wood fibres from fast-growing tree species, which are formed into solid blocks in a special process and then cut to smaller formats.
Visually, ONEWOOD resembles valuable tropical woods such as Balau, Chengal, teak or ironwood - but in fact not a single one of these trees had to be cut to produce ONEWOOD.
Timber Concept is distributor of this fascinating product in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
